Our commitment

This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. The principles we apply are Perceivable, Operable, Understandable and Robust.

What we do in practice

  • Semantic HTML throughout, so screen readers can navigate by landmark and heading.
  • A "Skip to content" link at the top of every page, visible on focus.
  • Sufficient colour contrast for body text and interactive elements, drawing from the navy (#16233B) and bright blue (#2F80ED) palette against white.
  • Text remains readable at 200% zoom without loss of function.
  • Page layouts adapt to small viewports without horizontal scrolling.
  • Form fields are labelled, with clear error messages if a field is missing or invalid.
  • Buttons and links are reachable via keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
  • No essential content is conveyed by colour alone.

Known limitations

This website is a small and growing site. We are honest about the limits we are still working on:

  • External statistics we cite (for example the Sage "Practice of Now" research) are linked from third-party pages that we do not control. Their accessibility is the responsibility of those publishers.
  • The Business Performance Review sample visuals on the home page are illustrative score gauges rendered as SVG. The score value is also provided as text for screen readers; the visual chart is decorative.
  • If we add a video embed, downloadable PDF template, or other richer media, we will update this statement to describe what is in place.

If you find an accessibility issue

We want to hear about anything that does not work for you. Write to hello@failsafe-solutions.com with the page URL and the issue you encountered, and we will respond within five working days.

How we test

Before each release we run Lighthouse accessibility audits on representative pages and review the results. We also re-read pages for plain-English clarity and confirm mobile usability at small viewport sizes. If a future change introduces a new component that has not been audited, we will add it to the audit list before publish.
